Standardization in the field of air compressors and compressed air systems.
Excluded are:
- air compressors used primarily in the process, petroleum, chemical and gas industry services, as they fall within the scope of ISO/TC 118/SC 1
- Compressed air treatment technology, as they fall within the scope of ISO/TC 118/SC 4
NOTE: Compressors for use with gases other than air are included, providing that they are not intended to be used primarily in the process, petroleum, chemical and gas industry.
