For information: since 1966 - SCL is a state control laboratory over standard and measuring equipment, since 1979 - UzRSCL was changed to the Center for Standardization and Metrology of Uzbekistan (UzSMM), in 1992 - UzSMM was changed to the Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of Uzbekistan under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzdavstandart). , from 2021 - the technical regulatory agency of Uzbekistan under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of the Standardization, Metrology and Certification Agency of Uzbekistan ("Uzstandart" Agency), from 2024 - the technical regulatory agency of Uzbekistan under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of which the Technical Regulatory Agency of Uzbekistan under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established - its legal successor was established.

One of the main tasks of the Uzbek Agency for technical regulation is the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Technical Regulation", "On Standardization", "On Metrology", "On Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies", normative documents in the field of technical regulation, consists of the practical implementation of normative documents and normative legal documents on ensuring that measurements are in a single unit.
